at Jacki's |
 We're
getting ShipShape this Summer at Jacki's! Jacki's fitness
programs magically transform exercise into a
pleasurable activity that maximizes fun. And who doesn't want to
have fun all Summer? We're all about serious fun, and every class will provide you
with a complete and safe aerobic workout, including floorwork to exercise
your abdominal muscles and light strength training. The exercise is
what initially brings us to class, but the classes are much more. We want to touch your heart and stir the passion in you! Work out at
your own level; there's no competition here. We build our muscles,
strength, and balance one class at a time, and we also build friendships
while we learn and laugh together. Don't miss the boat; get ShipShape
at Jacki's!

National
Fitness Hall of Fame Honors Jacki |
|

On March 18, 2007, Jacki
Sorensen, along with other fitness leaders, was inducted into
the National Fitness Hall of Fame. The celebration took place in Addison, Illinois. The
mission of the National Fitness Hall of Fame is to "preserve the
History of Fitness, recognize those who helped create it as well as produce
publications and programs which help to produce 'Fit & Healthy
Families.'" The
National Fitness Museum in Minooka, Illinois, is open to the public
and now includes a Jacki Sorensen display. The
museum display includes a binder of stories and comments regarding
how Jacki's aerobic programs have affected lives. If you would like to write
something for the museum display, please do! Mail your written
submissions or Jacki's memorabilia directly to the museum at their mailing address:

Students, franchisees, instructors, and all whose lives have been touched by

San Antonio, Texas, Aerobic Dancers and their

Star Award Presented to Instructor Diane Hart |
|
 Jacki's
instructor Diane Hart,
who teaches Aerobic Dancing and StrongStep classes in New
York, recently received a Gold Star Award from the National
Association of Health and Fitness. Awarded annually, Gold
Star Awards honor individuals and organizations who have
demonstrated exceptional leadership in the promotion and
improvement of physical activity and sports for citizens of all
ages in America. Diane was honored for her work as one of
the architects of the National
Physical Activity Plan, which is a comprehensive set of
policies, programs, and initiatives designed to increase physical
activity in all segments of the American population.
